THE MASQUERADE PALETTE REVIEW by Juvia’s Place
Hey Everyone and welcome back to my Blog
I know the holidays are over and everyone is back to their busy schedules of school and work, I hope its been good so far. So I have been watching Masterchef Austraila 2017 the last couple of weeks and it’s been sooooooo good this season. All the contestants are really good amateur cooks so the competition has been tough from the beginning. We down to the finals this week and I would love for any one of the Top 3 to win :), I cant believe I already watched 60 episodes (shocked face emoji) LOL
In other news, I also recently just reached 1000 Instagram followers (WHOOOO WHOOOO!!!!) and I know it may not seem like a HUGE thing, but for me it is I am over the moon and I have you guys to thank, So THANK YOU! I know The Mirror Image is only going to keep growing from here on and I’m so happy to share it with you all.
So after reaching 1K, Kay Beauty online was sweet enough to notice my growth on Instagram and gifted me with The Masquerade eye shadow mini palette by Juvia’s Place, as a Congratulation gift. You can imagine how special I was already feeling by now I’ve been wanting to try out the Juvia’s Place eyeshadows for such a long time and this happened. Thanks, KAYDOLLS. You guys have to go check out their Online Store: https://www.kaybeautyonline.com/ for all your international makeup brands and follow them on Instagram : @kaybeautyonline for their latest specials and re-stock dates.
If you not sure what to purchase first from their site, let me share with you my thoughts on The Masquerade Palette .
This palette contains 16 eyeshadow shades with a combination of both metallic and matte shades. They range from highly pigmented bold shades to warm golden/brown shades.
The first thing I noticed about this palette is the creaminess of the metallic shades. When I placed my fingers on them, they felt smooth, soft and creamy and the pigment is amazing! The matte shades are not as pigmented as the metallics but has a fairly good colour payoff.
Here are the swatches of the brighter shades:
Swatches of the first 2 rows of The Masquerade Palette
Swatches of the next 4 shades of the 3rd row of the Masquerade Palette
Swatches of the last row of shades in The Masquerade Palette
Personally, I love all the shades in this palette especially on my darker skin tone, but I think these shades would look great on any skin tone. They are blendable and there is a range of eyeshadow looks you could create with this palette. What I mostly love about it is that it has these vibrant bright shades, which I would say is very rare to find in a palette with warm red and brown tones. The palette would also make a really good travel item, as you could transition from day to night looks all with this one palette. You will definitely be finding this in my travel bag.
Definitely a YAY for me
